As IT professional and digital developer, my role is to design and develop cutting edge applications – while leveraging the mission-critical business logic in our IBM i systems.

As well as developing Web applications and mobile apps, I create web services to access IBM i business data and interconnect our enterprise systems. I work agile mostly in Java using Jenkins and Git. When I need to update the legacy RPG I struggle in their outdated environment and understanding those ‘secret codes’. It’s a challenge to collaborate with the IBM i teams as we don’t share the same tools.
